Hyodeoxycholic Acid / HDCA has hypolipidemic, antispasmodic and expectorant effects and is clinically used for the treatment of hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis, bronchitis, pediatric viral upper respiratory inflammation, and dyspepsia caused by hepatobiliary diseases; it has certain inhibitory effects on pertussis, diphtheria bacilli and Staphylococcus aureus; as the active ingredient in Qingkailing injection, it has good effects on the treatment of acute leukemia after clinical observation, and in vitro experiments have proved that HDCA has the effects of inducing apoptosis and inhibiting cell proliferation and division.

1. Hyodeoxycholic Acid suitable for type Ia and Ib hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis. It has some antibacterial effect on Bacillus pertussis, Bacillus diphtheriae and Staphylococcus aureus. It is also indicated for cholangitis, cholecystitis, cholelithiasis and other non-obstructive bile depression, and can accelerate the discharge of cholecystography agent from the liver to help visualization. It can promote intestinal lipolysis and absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, and can be used for indigestion caused by liver and biliary disorders. It can be used as an anti-inflammatory drug to treat chronic bronchitis and pediatric viral respiratory inflammation. It can occasionally cause gastrointestinal discomfort, mild diarrhea, etc.
