1. Clinafloxacin is a fluoroquinolone that inhibits both DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV.
2. Clinafloxacin, a fourth-generation quinolone antibacterial agent currently under development, is a new broad-spectrum antibacterial agent that inhibits bacterial DNA pro-cyclase and has better action and efficacy than the quinolones currently widely used in clinical practice, and its animal toxicity is similar to that of the quinolones, making it clinically valuable.
