Tedizolidphosphate, also known as Tedizolid phosphate, Tedizolid phosphate, Tedizolid phosphate, Tedizolid phosphate, Tedizolid phosphate is a second-generation oxazolidinone antibiotic developed by Dong-APharmaceutical, which has been shown in phase III clinical trials to be clinical efficacy comparable to linezolid, with fewer gastrointestinal and thrombocytopenic adverse effects than linezolid and a lower incidence of drug resistance. The FDA approved dosage forms are injectable and tablet, which allow for easy clinical switching, and are used once daily for six days, as opposed to linezolid's twice daily for ten days. Therefore, given its good clinical efficacy, smaller dose and shorter dosing cycle, it is suitable for a wide range of populations and has a large market potential.

1. Tedizolid, known as TR-700, is an oral and i.v administered intracellular antibacterial drug.
2. Tedizolidphosphate is an antibacterial drug of the oxazolidinone class used for acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (ABSSSI) in adults caused by designated sensitive bacteria. In order to reduce the development of resistant bacteria and to maintain the effectiveness of Tedizolidphosphate in relation to other antibacterial agents, SIVEXTRO should only be used for the treatment or prevention of infections that have been proven or strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria.
