Usage	Cilostazol is commonly used clinically anti-platelet and anti-clotting drugs. Cilostazol is a quinoline-derived drug that can be used to relieve the symptoms of intermittent claudication in patients with peripheral arterial obstruction. The manufacturer of this product is Otsuka Pharmaceutical, and it is sold under the trade name Puda Ingot. Similar to other analogs that often increase the mortality of patients with congestive heart failure, cilostazol seems to increase the chance of hospitalization for heart failure in diabetic patients. This product is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor that can increase the concentration of cyclic adenosine monophosphate. This product can inhibit platelet aggregation and can directly cause vasodilation.

Application
Cilostazol is used to reduce the symptoms of intermittent claudication (pain in the legs that worsens when walking and improves when resting that is caused by narrowing of the blood vessels that supply blood to the legs).

Recommended dosages of Cilostazol
The recommended dosage of PLETAL is 100 mg twice daily taken at least half an hour before or two hours after breakfast and dinner. Patients may respond as early as 2 to 4 weeks after the initiation of therapy, but treatment for up to 12 weeks may be needed before a beneficial effect is experienced.
