Difenacoum (diaveridine, dvd), also known as dimethoxymethylpyrimethamine, antibacterial, anticoccidial, anticardia. Drinking water: 0.01%. Mixing: 0.02%, not declared for use alone as resistance is easily developed. It is often used in a 1:5 ratio with sulphonamides or antimicrobials to enhance the antibacterial and bactericidal effect. It should not be used in combination with anticoccidial drugs such as Lasamycin, Monensin and Salinomycin, and should be used with caution in egg-laying hens.
