Erutinib is a Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) and mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), both of which are B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphomas that are refractory and prone to recurrence and are not targeted by commonly used chemoimmunotherapy and often experience grade 3 or 4 adverse effects. Erutinib can target and bind to BTK, which is essential for B lymphocyte formation, differentiation, messaging and survival, and irreversibly inhibit the activity of BTK, effectively inhibiting the proliferation and survival of tumour cells; moreover, it is rapidly absorbed after oral administration, reaching maximum blood concentration in 1 to 2 hours, with grade 1 or 2 adverse reactions, and will become a new choice for the treatment of CLL and MCL.
