Disodium adenosine triphosphate can penetrate the blood-brain barrier, improve the stability of membranous structure of nerve cells and reconstruction ability, and promote nerve growth. It is used clinically as an adjunctive treatment for progressive myasthenia gravis, sequelae of cerebral hemorrhage, cardiac insufficiency, cardiomyopathy, and hepatitis.

1. Adenosine 5'-monophosphate is used clinically in disseminated sclerosis, porphyria, pruritus, hepatopathy, and varicose ulcer complications. A combination of eye drops based on adenosine acid components can be used for ocular fatigue, central retinitis and corneal surface disorders such as corneal opacity and herpes. Local erythema, systemic vasodilation, facial redness, dizziness, dyspnea and palpitations are seen with intramuscular injection.
